1. Grinch Arrested for Assaulting a Reindeer in Traverse City
The Traverse City Police Department says they arrested the Grinch. Seriously. Officers say a man dressed as the Grinch was arrested for assaulting a man dressed as a reindeer. It looks like Mr. Grinch IS a mean one. Read more
2. Cadillac Man’s Bad Construction Business Earns Him 2 Arrest Warrants
A Cadillac man was charged for defrauding people through building projects more than a year after the first complaint. They say he was even wanted in Grand Traverse County for the same exact thing. Read more
3. Stolen Snowmobiles, ATV and More Found In Lake County
Deputies in Lake County recovered dozens of stolen items from two separate properties this week. If you’re missing items, officials might have recovered them. Read more
4. Cadillac Man Arrested for Facebook Fraud
Ronald James Grunwell III, 42, of Cadillac, has been arrested after failing to deliver an item he sold on Facebook Marketplace. Read more
5. It’s So Bad, Michigan AG Warns of Puppy Scams
The holiday season is one of the most popular times to give cute little puppies as gifts, and Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is warning people to be on the lookout for puppy scams. Read more

6. Interlochen Man Dies in Crash at Chums Corner
Troopers say the 48-year-old Interlochen man crossed the center line and clipped another car. He then appears to have left the road and hit a tree. Read more
7. Grand Traverse County Hit and Run Victim Did Not Survive
In a sad update to a previous story, the woman who was hit in Long Lake Township by a hit-and-run driver has died. The driver was found and has been charged. Read more
8. Man, Woman Sentenced in Disturbing Petoskey Sex Crimes Case
In another update, Jeremiah Page and Kristina Sterley were sentenced this week for child abuse and sex crimes for their part in a horrific case. Read more

10. Manistee Co. Man Takes a Vacation After Winning $500,000
A Manistee County man says he’s headed to Florida on vacation after winning $500,000 in the lottery. The anonymous player turned his winning ticket into a Wesco gas station in Manistee. He says he won $10 on a Perfect Gift scratcher and used that money to buy the $500,000 ticket. Read more
