Ranau records RM1.8m in Macau Scam losses | Daily Express Online

RANAU: People here are reminded to be more careful and not get caught up in any form of fraud such as Macau Scam, or financial loans and vehicle purchases that do not exist.

Ranau District Police Chief, DSP Semiun Lomudin, said the district saw a total loss of RM1.8 million in online scams to-date.“I advise grassroots community leaders to provide adequate information to the public not to deal with them (Macau Scam) because it is detrimental to themselves, family, community and country.”
