State Police at Clearfield

On Thursday at 3:34 p.m., a crash occurred on I-80 west near the 127 mile marker, Graham Township. John W. Warren, 37, of Troy fell asleep behind the wheel, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and impact an embankment. The vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its driver’s side. Warren was wearing a seatbelt, however, he was injured and transported to Penn Highlands for treatment.

On Thursday at 10:05 a.m., a traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of Pine Street and Route 53, Cooper Township, due to the vehicle having an expired registration. The vehicle began to flee south on Route 53, committing several more violations before turning onto School House Road, then a four-wheeler path. The pursuit ended with the vehicle crashing into a ditch near Trolley Street and both occupants, identified as James Dillen, 28, of Grassflat and Torie Snedden, 31, of Allport, fled on foot into the woods. Snedden was taken into custody later in the day; Dillen has not yet been located.

On Thursday at approximately 8:21 a.m., a theft was reported on Pearce Road, Cooper Township.

On Wednesday at 12:04 p.m., an unknown suspect damaged a garage door at a residence on the 400-block of Knox Run Road, Cooper Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Clearfield.
