The NGT has, however, ordered to stop whatever illegal construction was going on at the park in Patparganj. The order was issued on August 5.

The allegation mentioned in the NGT order is as: There is unauthorised construction of property in the park. The occupants are committing electricity theft and the substation has been illegally constructed to favour the occupants of the said premises under political influence of the Deputy CM of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The high-level panel set up by the NGT is expected to meet soon to look into the allegations.
The development comes in the wake of the CBI carrying out searches at the residence of Sisodia in the alleged Delhi excise police scam case. The central agency also searched the AAP leader’s bank locker yesterday.
However, Sisodia has claimed that nothing has been found so far by the CBI in the searches conducted till now.
