Trinity Lutheran Church to celebrate Swedish heritage

Trinity Lutheran Church, 3333 N. Duffield Ave., Loveland, will celebrate its Swedish roots with a special outdoor service on the east lawn of the church at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 19.

The service will include youth participation and singing traditional Swedish hymns. Following the service, all are invited to enjoy cookies and dance around the maypole in celebration of Midsummer, the summer solstice.

The M & M’s Children’s Choir is also invited to perform at the Estes Park Scandinavian Festival at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25. This three-day event will be held at Bond Park in downtown Estes, and features entertainment, food and artisan booths.

Abiding Love Lutheran Church to hold Youth Jumble Sale

Abiding Love Lutheran Church will hold a Youth Jumble Sale, including a bake sale, fashion show and art auction, at 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, June 17 and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 18.

The fashion show will be held at 3 p.m. Friday and will showcase items for sale.

The art auction will be at 10 a.m. Saturday and will offer a chance to bid on art and crafts.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase both days, while supplies last!

All proceeds are going toward the flight and registration fees for the youth and leaders attending the International Youth Rally in Knoxville, Tenn., in June.

Abiding Love Lutheran Church is located at 2825 E. First St., Loveland.
