NMC warns Indian students about fake recognition letter for Kyrgyzstan medical college

As per the fake letter online, NMC has recognised the Avicenna International Medical University in Kyrgyzstan and Indian students can study there to become a doctor. However, the apex medical education regulator has denied this claim and issued a clarification.
In the official notice issued, NMC director Pankaj Agarwal has clarified that NMC has not issued any such clarification and that the letter in circulation is fake. The official notice issued by NMC has been shared below for reference.
Related to medical colleges and universities in Kyrgyzstan, NMC also issued a warning in February 2022 to students about the possible problems that could arise in pursuing MBBS in the newly launched colleges in the country.
