Only liquor scam accused have met at BRS meeting
BRS scared of BSP and hence chanting the name of Kanshi Ram
TSGenco is plagued with losses to the tune of Rs 40,000 while providing free power to the farmers
Construction of projects only aimed to siphon off public money
KARIMNAGAR: Former IPS officer and BSP state Chief Dr RS Praveen Kumar has alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan have lost their credibility by attending the BRS meeting in Khammam district.
Alleging that the liquor scam accused have met in Telangana state in the name of BRS meeting, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is scared of BSP and hence chanting the name of BSP founder Kanshi Ram in Khammam public meeting. He charged that Mr KCR was trying to restrict Dr Ambedkar ideologies only for the Dalits.
Dr Praveen Kumar, who is on a 300-day Bahujana Rajyadhikara yatra, which entered 168th day on Wednesday (January 19, 2023), toured extensively in Mallial mandal. Speaking on the occasion, the BSP chief ridiculed Mr Chandrashekhar Rao’s claim to provide free power in the country. He asked how come TSGenco was plagued with the debts to the tune of Rs 40,000 crore by providing 24 hours power supply to the farm sector. He also alleged that the government was burdening the common users by charging ACD charges in the power bills.

Mr Praveen Kumar alleged that the Chief Minister was talking about the construction of projects in the country only to siphon off the public money like it had done in the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project. He said that the BRS government was bent upon to dilute the education sector by allocating poor funds for the sector. He flayed the Chief Minister for not visiting any university and conducting a review meeting on the education scenario.
Referring to Mr KCR’s claim of providing 35 per cent reservations to the women, he asked the BRS government to first implement the same in the state cabinet by women as ministers. He alleged that the TRS was the only government in the country which had not appointed single women as the Minister in the cabinet from 2014 to 2018.
Flaying the state government for neglect of historic Sri Anjaneya Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu and Sri Raja Rajeshwara swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada, he asked why the government was not allocating funds for the development of the ancient temples. He also flayed the government for not constructing adequate godowns to store the paddy produce and bulk milk cooling units in the district.
The BSP chief toured Nukapalli, Tatipalli, Balwanthapur, Manala and Mallial villages. BSP leaders M Ravinder, K Shekhar, Mahankali Tirupathi, women’s wing leaders Sirisha, Jannu Swaroopa, Anoosha, Swapna and others were also present.
