Jerome Township woman drunk-dials 911, tells deputies to leave her property

The following list includes recent reports from the Midland County Sheriff’s Office and the Midland Police Department. Compiled by reporter Tereasa Nims.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

10:45 p.m. – A deputy removed a construction safety fence from the roadway that was causing a traffic hazard.

8:38 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to a Greendale Township gravel pit for a water pump that was running and causing noise. The deputy contacted the 57-year-old male complainant and advised him how to handle township ordnance violations.

8:12 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to an Edenville Township location for a report of a vicious loose dog. The Deputy checked the area, and the dog was unable to be located.

8:20 p.m. – Deputies were dispatched to a Greendale Township residence regarding a dispute between a 35-year-old woman and her 40-year-old boyfriend. The alteration was verbal only and no assault occurred. The Deputy gave the man a ride to a relative’s house for the evening to deescalate the situation.
