Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn debunks a casting call scam that has been making its way around the web. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has a massive cast, with Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis) all returning to the MCU. Despite her death in Avengers: Endgame, Gamora (Zoe Saldaña) will also be part of the story, with the film bringing back the version of Gamora that traveled to the future with Thanos. The sequel is also expected to introduce new characters to the universe, including Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), who was first teased all the way back in 2017 in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Unlike many MCU movies, filming on Guardians of the Galaxy 3 wasn’t impacted by COVID-19 because Gunn needed to complete his work on DC’s The Suicide Squad before returning to Marvel.
