Aug. 25, 2:44 p.m., 500 block of Harriet Lane: A victim discovered $539.75 worth of unauthorized purchases made with his credit card.
Fraud
Aug. 25, 7:30 p.m., 600 block of Grand Avenue: A victim reported that she received a letter stating that her lease was going to expire. She called the number provided and gave the person her name, social security number and ZIP code before recognizing she was scammed.
