Anna Sorokin, AKA Anna Delvey, doesn’t plan on watching “Inventing Anna,” the Netflix original series about her infamous scam in which she pretended to be a German heiress.
While in ICE custody as she faces possible deportation, the 31-year-old convicted fraudster penned an essay for Insider in which she discussed her life in jail and shared her thoughts on the upcoming Netflix series, explaining why she won’t be checking out the limited series.

“It doesn’t look like I’ll be watching ‘Inventing Anna’ anytime soon,” Delvey wrote. “Even if I were to pull some strings and make it happen, nothing about seeing a fictionalized version of myself in this criminal-insane-asylum setting sounds appealing to me.”
She went on to add, “For a long while, I was hoping that by the time ‘Inventing Anna’ came out, I would’ve moved on with my life. I imagined for the show to be a conclusion of sorts summing up and closing of a long chapter that had come to an end.”
