Downtown Chattanooga Alliance Selects Kelly Fitzgerald As Board Chair

The Downtown Chattanooga Alliance transitions its leadership as Kelly Fitzgerald is elected to board chair.

Ms. Fitzgerald is a dedicated community leader who has been with the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance since its formation in 2020 and previously served in the role of vice-chair and on the executive committee. In addition to being on the DCA’s board, Ms. Fitzgerald has extensive board service, including those of the Chattanooga Design Studio, Chattanooga Area of Commerce, and Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga.

“Kelly was involved with the creation of the DCA and has continuously been there every step of the way,” DCA’s Executive Director Steve Brookes said. “She will bring strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the community to our team.”

Currently, Ms. Fitzgerald is vice president of commercial brokerage for SVN Second Story Real Estate Management. She has completed multiple transactions on a variety of retail and office projects for both landlords and tenants, ranging from local to institutional, across the South. A background in construction and architecture lends an in-depth understanding of complex projects from start to finish, allowing her to quickly bring smart strategies that benefit all parties, said officials.

Experience in collaboration with tenants, developers, sellers and business owners positions Ms. Fitzgerald to lead the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance. Additionally, she founded Society of Work, a membership-based, shared office space designed to create a culture of hardworking individuals, located in the DCA’s business improvement district.

Other executive committee members include Secretary Charles Perry, Treasurer Gordon Stalans and Vice Chairman Adam Kinsey. To view the full board list, visit dtchattalliance.org/ourteam.
