Bengaluru: The CID on Wednesday raided several properties owned by suspended IPS Officer Amrit Paul, two days after he was arrested by the CID for his alleged involvement in Karnataka PSI Recruitment Scam.
The CID after securing a search warrant raided Paul’s farmhouse in Husahudai village of Chikkaballapur Taluk here. According to the reports, the CID has reportedly found out that Paul had purchased agricultural land.
Similarly, the CID also raided Paul’s house in Sahakar Nagar in presence of Paul and seized documents from the house. They have also reportedly seized the bank accounts of Paul.
Sources said the CID raids come in the wake of reports that Paul had a 20% share in the crores of rupees made from illegal PSI recruitment.
