There have been lots of scams over the years involving roof replacement or sealing driveways, as noted by the local Better Business Bureau. In fact, a large number of residents throughout Rutherford County have reported strangers visiting their home suggesting they needed a new roof, especially after a storm hits the area. Other residents have reported random workers showing up in beat-up / old trucks, telling homeowners they had enough left-over material from a previous job to re-seal their driveway for a fraction of the cost that most could.
