If a non-established company that sub-contracts work being done on your home and the company lacks insurance, repairing damage they cause could fall on the homeowner. In addition to incorrect work being done – – if a roofer lacks insurance and a worker falls off your roof, you could be sued and possibly forced to pay for their injuries.
