It isn’t the first time this Mexican couple has received backlash on social media. When the duo was featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, fans called them out for their questionable actions. Many viewers thought Armando acted selfishly when he told Kenneth that he wanted to have a baby via surrogacy. Even though the 58-year-old reality star was reluctant to have a baby at his retirement age, Armando didn’t give in and insisted on taking an IVF route to grow their family.
Kenneth also got sharp criticism on social media for not being patient with Armando’s father. He failed to support Armando and ended up questioning his father’s intentions when he refused to attend their wedding. The Florida native also gets teased on different social media platforms for failing to learn Spanish. Viewers noticed that Kenneth had spent more than a year in Mexico, and he still can’t converse with his in-laws and Armando’s nine-year-old daughter, Hannah, because he doesn’t speak the local language.
