High taxes, unfair banking system keep us in cycle of poverty (Letters)

Question 1 supports stealing additional money from people for things already taxed? Vote “no” on Question 1 to stop a plundering tax! Predators have taken control of our monetary system, dominating society and deforming humanity in the process. We have a new system whose main virtue is to create universal poverty. The current monetary meltdown is the result of a system which is designed for plunder.

We have a debt-money system in which all circulated money is loaned by banks. Since only the principal is loaned and not the interest, there is always more debt than money to pay back. Example: a $300,000 home loan makes more than a double profit! Something to remember, a bad situation eventually leads to bankruptcy and asset seizures. This is where people find out they weren’t the actual owners of anything.

The wealthy class produces nothing and lives off producers! Many people understand the debt-money problem, but the plunder goes much deeper. At its core, the problem is very simple: Banks make money using money from others, without producing anything for it. When a bank creates a loan and gets paid interest, nothing gets produced. While it is the basis of most of the world’s banking systems, this doesn’t make the practice moral or right, it makes struggle, poverty and severe bankruptcy more widespread.
