Here are the top five stories in Roswell today:
- City of Roswell, Georgia Government: The annual Rivers Alive river cleanup was a success. The event took place on Saturday, September 17. Over 200 volunteers came out and participated. They cleared out over 3000 pounds of trash and invasive plants from the riverfront and other waterways throughout the city. (City of Roswell, Georgia Government via Facebook)
- The Roswell Police Department: The Roswell PD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect of a theft. Hot Hand Sports Cards on Canton St. in Roswell was robbed on August 28. The suspect stole approximately $1,000 worth of sports memorabilia from the store. Police have video surveillance and needs the public’s help with identifying the individual. - Hembree Springs Elementary: The Honorary Hembree Grandmas donated clothing, snacks and more items to the school’s giving closet. There are still opportunities to support. - 2022 Brew Moon Fest: The Brew Moon Fest will return to Downtown Alpharetta on Saturday, September 24. This is an award-winning, bi-annual festival. This event will highlight local brewery favorites such as Jekyll Brewing Company. There will also be live music and food. Tickets for the festival are now on sale. (thegeorgiasun.com)
