Here are the top five stories today in and around Loganville-Grayson:
- 400 community, business, educational, and environmental leaders attended Governor Kemp’s Environmental Address in Gwinnett for the 14th year in a row. Gathering at the Convention Center at Gas South District, Kemp pointed to investments in state parks, as well as water and air quality infrastructure, arguing that better environmental policies make the state more appealing to businesses. Georgia is a national leader in the Electric Vehicle industry and third in the country for environmental sustainability. (Metro Atlanta CEO)
- The Walton County Fire Rescue warns locals of a phishing text message scam. The Walton County Fire Department has not authorized any person or entity to sell Fire Department t-shirts and you should not pay any money for them.
