1) Security Chief For Cleveland Public Schools Faces Drunken Driving Charges

The chief of safety and security for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after Solon police saw him swerving off the side of the road. Dash-cam footage shows Hill failing to recite the alphabet and telling the officers: “I had one shot and two beers.”

  • Dennis Hill was arrested in January, but his criminal charges only recently came to light as his case was moving through the courts. A former Cleveland Police commander, Hill was arrested for drunken driving in 2018, too.
  • Hill’s drivers license is suspended, reports the Fox 8 I-Team.
  • What do the city schools say? “Chief Hill is currently performing all duties within his job description without impediment and as required by the District. The District is aware of pending court action involving Chief Hill, is monitoring the case’s progression and will take appropriate action at the resolution of the case if required or warranted.”

2) ๐Ÿฅ Hospital Safety Grades: Several hospitals in Cleveland received top marks, but others didn’t quite measure up in the Spring 2022 Hospital Safety Grades report released Tuesday by The Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit health care watchdog group. How do the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and MetroHealth measure up in the grading?

3) The Romanburger: Hamburger Or Sandwich? Mr. Hero was born on Cleveland’s West Side in 1965. Ever since, the beloved Romanburger has been the franchise’s No. 1 seller. (I loved the Romanburger so much, when I was homesick as a younger lad, I’d make my own.) It’s as popular as the Cleveland Browns, and it’s chef Michael Symon’s “favorite food vice.”

But is the Romanburger a hamburger or a sandwich? Burger aficionados maintain that hamburgers are not sandwiches. If that’s true, what is Cleveland’s Romanburger? Waste 60 seconds with us, have a little fun and help settle this.

p.s. Did you know you can buy Mr. Hero gift cards?
