Scammers are offering phoney employment opportunities to take advantage of unemployment and layoffs with the opportunity to generate additional income by gaining Rs 50 for liking a video on YouTube.

These scammers use platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and even Facebook to entice victims and earn up to Rs 5000 per day.

To proceed with the payment, they frequently request personal information, and occasionally they will also request payment in exchange for access to a job that does not exist.

Here is how the Scammers perform: Swindlers begin by sending you a message informing you that they have a job opportunity for you with limited slots; in order to reserve a slot, you must respond to the message. When the victim asks, “What’s the job about?” In response, Swindlers tell victims, “All you need to do here is to LIKE videos on YouTube, and you will be paid Rs.” 50 for each video you LIKE.

Their business model is to generate fake YouTube likes using bot farms with fake accounts. However, victims fall for this lack of information.

These scammers act by trying to convince you that they work for a global social media or internet company, one of which the victim has never heard of. The con artists will even give the victim a small sum, such as Rs 150 to get them hooked. This sum is for “Completing three tasks,” they’ll send you links to three YouTube videos, asking you to like them, and then share screenshots of your LIKES.
