With 16 million Canadian shoppers getting ready to hunt online for bargains on Boxing Day, new research from cybersecurity company NordVPN shows that more than a quarter (27.3 percent) of all online shoppers have been caught in a scam.

That’s about 10.5 million shoppers.
With close to half of Canadian shoppers (41.7 percent) saying they’ll be looking for bargains online for Boxing Day, it’s prime time for criminals.
