Majority of accused in J&K Sub Inspectors Recruitment scam are from belt forces?


Jammu, November 10: It is a well aware of the fact that out of a total of 33 accused involved in the Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment scam 20 have been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation till date but a shocking episode had surfaced that most of the accused are personnel from the belt forces.


On Thursday sleuths of CBI have arrested seven more accused, which included a Head Constable and three Constables of the Central Reserve Police Force.


Pawan Kumar, Head Constable, CRPF, Amit Kumar Sharma, Constable, CRPF, Atul Kumar, Constable, CRPF and Sunil Sharma, Constable/Cook, CRPF were arrested on Thursday by CRPF & on Monday one Assistant Sub-Inspector of J&K Police Ashok Kumar, then posted at Jammu city’s Nowabad Police Station as Munshi and presently at Kanachak Police Station and Surinder Kumar, a Constable of Central Reserve Police Force posted at Chatha, a resident of Rewari in Haryana, were among the four persons arrested for their involvement in the scam.


CBI has already arrested two constables of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, one CRPF official, one ex-constable of CRPF, one Teacher of the Government of J&K, and one Commandant of BSF.


Now, one can observe that, if such level officer/officials can manage  Recruitments in JKSSRB despite after a written test, would have been easy for the said nexus to enter into other Recruitments needed to be looked into?
