A country music fan who was scammed out of hundreds of euros for Garth Brooks tickets has warned others to beware of online fraudsters.
The Athboy woman who asked not to be named says she was thrilled when thought she had secured four coveted tickets for the country star’s final two concerts in Croke Park next weekend costing €230 but was left distraught when she realised she had been ripped off. She added:
“I was looking for Garth Brooks tickets last night and what I didn’t know was a scammer said she had four tickets, she took the money from my account but she hasn’t come up with the tickets. She says she has refunded the money but she hasn’t.
