Chatham-Kent police are receiving reports of another phone scam.

Suspicious calls claim to offer a carbon tax credit, with victims being asked for their personal financial information in order to deposit the credit into their account.
Police ask the public to be aware of calls offering government tax benefits, unsolicited calls requesting personal and banking information, and unsolicited calls asking you to confirm personal and financial information.
Beware of unsolicited calls where the caller asks you for your name, address, birthdate, social insurance number, credit card number or banking information.
If you did not initiate the call, you do not know who you’re talking to, police added.

Truck reported stolen in Ridgetown
On Sunday morning, a 2016 white Ford F-250 was stolen from a business on Industrial Road in Ridgetown.
The truck had Ontario marker BC63470 attached to it, with the side reading “Great Lakes Door Systems.”
