📢 I’m looking for business owners and marketers in Scottsdale who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

Here are the top three stories today in Scottsdale:

Numerous residents reported fake parking citations to police headquarters last week. On the fake tickets, a QR code takes people to a fake payment site, where their payment information is then stolen. (Arizona’s Family)
- Scottsdale native and football quarterback Kedon Slovis announced his transfer from the Pittsburg Panthers to the BYU Cougars in Utah. This season will be Slovis’ final season of college eligibility. He will replace outgoing quarterback Jaren Hall, who recently declared for the NFL draft. (KSL News)
- The results of three election recounts for the position of Arizona’s attorney general confirmed democrat Kris Mayes as the winner. A Maricopa County Superior Court Judge announced the results of the recounts on Thursday morning. (Arizona Capitol Times)

- The Scottsdale Civic Center is wrapping up its first phase of improvements set to open in late January! Construction for improvements began in October 2021 and include updating the infrastructure, improving the spaces, and providing free WiFi. The Civic Center will fully reopen in late March 2023. (Scottsdale Parks & Recreation via Facebook)
- The efforts of the City of Scottsdale’s facilities team this year saved nearly 900,000 gallons of water! The team installed six communicating cooling tower controllers in various city buildings to help reduce water usage and identify mechanical failures. There’s one more installation to go next month, and the combined efforts will help the city save roughly 1.3 million gallons of water in 2023. (City of Scottsdale – Government via Facebook)
